Managing Director

Palesa Rametse
Palesa has broad experience in the mining, manufacturing and construction sectors. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Environmental Management. Her expertise is in environmental management, carbon emission calculations and reporting, non-financial assurance and ISO 14001:2015 system development, implementation and management.

OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

Boleng’s philosophy is to be known as an independent professional practice, owned and managed entirely by engineers and scientists who demonstrate exceptional competence, professionalism, honesty and integrity. As a level 1 BBBEE contributor, Boleng is 100%-owned by professional Africans who work for the company on a full-time basis, and 50% of its shareholding is held by a woman.

The day-to-day management of the company’s operations has been vested into the board of directors and heads of departments. The board of directors are responsible for all statutory functions relating to the company, including: strategy, goals, policies and overall leadership, whereas the heads of departments deal with technical aspects of the projects, including project management, deliverables, costing as well as expectations of the client.

Operations Director

Modidi Rametse
Modidi is a registered IRCA Quality auditor. He has extensive knowledge in business management systems and process improvement initiatives. He has a Mechanical Engineering background with broad experience in mining, mechanical, manufacturing, rapid rail, petrochemical, boiler, and construction sectors. Clients with which he has worked with include Murray & Roberts, Howden, TUV, Actom, and Steinmuller, to name a few.
